The Problem:

When you try and get some sticky tape you can't find the end (easily) or you can find it but you can't pick the end up.

My old solution:

Fold the end over. This works but it wastes that little bit of sticky tape which you have to cut off before you use it.

New Solution:

Leave a little bulge near the end, enough to grab. You can pull the loop up and then pull the loop apart.

No waste!
